Interesting. Copies of genuine Neutrik XLRs. I bought to see how they stack up with originals. Metal housing is sturdy, locks are a bit loose and probably break under heavy use. These will not last as long and hard as genuine article. Originals last for decades. I have a bunch from late '80s still in use. Can I recommend these? Yes with reservations. XLR Plugs are OK, they have a machined contact like more expensive brands, which make soldering easy. The sockets, unfortunately, are not machined, they are just stamped sheet metal contacts, which make soldering much more difficult. Both are better for smaller diameter cables, 6mm diameter or less, assembly of the strain relief onto the connector body is difficult for larger diameter cables. But the connectors are a good value compared to the big name brands.

These connectors fit nicely together, but do not mate with standard XLRs from Switchcraft or Neutrik. The inside diameter of the male connector is 0.3..0.5mm smaller than "real" XLRs.

Very satified with these connectors as they are of a good quality and excellent finish. Compared to other sources this is really good value for the price.
