very handful, it is sized and shaped to sit on top of two 18650 batteries. It accepts 9V and delivers enough current for my project

This very small board does have the capability of 4 to 5 amps, however not continuous. When charging it is about half a second on (4 amps @ 12v) and approx 1 second off. It handles the heat very well. The charging current is directly related to the voltage output of the charger.. @9v it charges about 2 amp surges and @12v it charges at 4 amp surges.It appears to have a good cutoff when the batteries are at full charge. I am using two this device on 2 x 18650 batteries in series.

Be careful: there is a contradiction between the name where it is indicated that the product is intended for Li-ion Batteries and in the Product Usage section of the specification, which states that the product is intended for nickel cobalt manganese, lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide batteries
