It was something I needed.

While the motor gards look and feels solid, they are not perfect replacements for the original protectors on the X220S (at least not my). The original are slightly larger and fit underneath the arm on the drone. These are slightly smaller and have to be fitted above. See attached photos. This does not make much of a difference I guess, but something you might want to be aware of. I would have prefered to have the larger guards, like the originals, so that the arm is also protected. I needed a couple motor guards for my Eachine Wizard after I had some brutal crashes. For the price point I couldn’t resist. I also liked the assortment of colors to choose from which was a plus. The quality and build of these are way better than the stock Wiazrd ones and personally I thought they really helped out dampening the motors and reducing propwash significantly. I highly recommend buying a set of these to keep as spares or if you are looking to upgrade with some cool colors.

These motor guards can fit any 2205 motor. I am using them to guard my red bottoms (2205 2300Kv Emax - normal and steel shafts). I have easily set them up on a ZMR and RealAcc 210 quads without any problems. They are very durable and have withstood some good crashes. Much better than 3D printed ones as these are injected plastic. Definitely recommended!
