I bought the 110volt units, all 6 worked out of the box. I then connected a current probe to the incoming power connection. It showed a RMS value of 345mA (bottom of picture), not the 136mA on the BG site. BG should update the site info. No i was going to guess twice has high current (272mA) for 110V vs 220v, but its much higher, its not 30W, but 40W power consumption at 115Vac. This is good news, as probably 30W is the LED power. I used a 5"x4"x2" cpu cooler without fan and at 15 minutes it was 192F, I did not like this high temp (although the BG sight does not give specs on temp limits), so i will be looking for a larger heatsink. The LED is made up of 108 led's, and with three drivers (BP5132H), they drive the LED's in 36 series strings. Overall I am really impressed. I just need to dissipate the 40watts better, thanks BG!
