You can see this by the 3.5 dark--bright-dark transitions in the photo taken by smartphone camera. Since I only turn on the light for seconds, or less than 2 minutes, the missing heat sink is no problem.

great cob light, need heatsink, ordered 50 watts warm white. gives impressive light with out any driver.. add heatsink and you are good to go
