These work well. Note that you need some kind of 12V power supply and a controller to use them. I was able to get them working with the adafruit neopixel library for Arduino the main hurdle was that you have to pass the NEO_RBG flag as they are wired RBG not RGB or GRB. I would (actually just did) buy more of these.
