I thought i bought these for nothing as they didn't work with my RPi's A+,B+ and Pi2. it took me a while to figure out that it was because the latest noob distribution was missing the firmware for the dongle, the drivers was included but didn't work. thanks to this link: https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/764 i was abble to get it to work with this command: sudo wget https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu/raw/c83976d1dfb4793893158461430261562b3a5bf0/rtl8188eufw.bin -O /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8188eufw.bin

Ho acquistato questo mini spinotto usb wifi per il mio Raspberry Pi. Funziona perfettamente e non è affatto ingombrante. Ordine effettuato il 2 maggio 2014 e ricevuto oggi 26 maggio 2014 (24 giorni). La merce, una volta arrivata in Italia, era tracciabile come raccomandata internazionale sul sito delle Poste italiane. I'm using this with a Raspberry Pi Model A and the latest version of NOOBS. This WiFi adaptor works straight out of the box - just plug it in, enter the network details and you are connected. I'm just about to order another one...

I bought one of these for my old desktop PC when I wanted to connect it wirelessly to my router. I installed the Windows XP driver OK and the dongle worked immediately. This has now given my old PC a bit more life so I am very pleased indeed. I cannot comment on the range of the device since my router is very close.

Tried with Max2Play&Squeezeplug image as well as Raspbian kernel 3.18. Doesn't work straight out of box but after help from previous post sudo wget https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu/raw/c83976d1dfb4793893158461430261562b3a5bf0/rtl8188eufw.bin -O /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8188eufw.bin did the work. A+ plus has only one usb port so I had to lend a Dlink SUB stick from my HTPC which worked out of box and then got the update.
