Works well, easy to adjust settings. Has speaker so it makes noise when turning on/off, or to alert low battery. The plastic is textured to look like carbon fiber, it is not a sticker so hopefully the texture will hold up to abuse. Remote takes 4 AA batteries in the handle. Also it does stand up on its on like other TX with big base on the bottom although slightly top heavy. Lanyard hook on backside is really convenient. Range seems exceptional. More then I'd probably ever need. Was very easy to bind to the receiver that was included and the second receiver I bought.
