I had a light bar above the mirror in the bathroom, with a row of 2-inch diameter decorative bulbs. On warm days, the heat from the bulbs was objectionable. I replaced them with these LED bulbs and I'm VERY happy! These make more light and there's no heat from them that you can notice. On top of it all, I'm using a fraction of the electricity that I used before.
