I was skeptical that this alarm would be worth the many, but I took a chance because we have bad crime in our area, and the local alarm shops want a left ball and kidney with the arm for an antiquated device that is still using the latest tech from 1980. I have tested now for a few days and randomly tested every sensor and not once did it fail to send the alert, even when I cut power to house and it only had a mobile connection. battery last +/- 6 hours with no power on wifi and around 3-4 hours on gsm with no power. very happy.
