This product feels rushed and unloved by its maker. The menu's are surprisingly awkward even compared to the X9D+ which had a strange button layout. it still was easier to navigate. I can't quantify or explain this but I've had 5 opentx based transmitters in my life and this is the only one i have found frustrating to configure models with. The firmware on the device inst really setup for the device - when adding models it defaults ot the internal RF module, which does not exist in this radio - the radio includes a 4xaa battery try to power it, but the firmware is configured by default for a 3 or 4s lipo (idk for sure something way higher voltage than 4xaa is) so when you power it up the first time it will have an alarm going off constantly that your battery is too low. The Radio itself is beige, the colour of indifference. Inspite of all my complaints i can say this is definitely a good buy, once you are actually flying with it, it feels good, its just everything before and after the flight that feels a little crap
