The Microscope image is very clear on the 7-inch screen, and the battery operation makes portability excellent. The only niggles I have relate to the stiffness of the focus knob and the poor markings for USB power (charging) and the USB connection for the lower light source. An excellent device with a very reasonable price. It would be a great addition to a student's set of tools, but is a bit flimsy for use in a educational institution with multiple users.
