very surprised and satisfied with my purchase. I wish that I had this thing a long time ago, I don't know why anyone would need more than what this thing provides. it measures both AC and DC using the clamp on meter. the DC clamp on meater I have never been able to afford because they have always been expensive. another great surprise was it came with a temperature probe I wasn't even expecting that. it has a beautiful digital screen and it also has a simulated analog meter which is great when you're trying to tune something. The built-in voltage proximity meter is very handy and works very well to tell if a wire is live before you start working on it. Another nice bonus is the built in light source, because when the power is out and you need to find out what's wrong it's nice to have a light. I am also surprised at the size of it, usually clamp style meters are kind of large this is very compact. it seems to measure capacitance very accurately. the frequency measurement is also essential if you're setting up a generator.
