It was easy to put together. Mine did not come with any hardware to attach the HX711 board to the bottom acrylic plate. I also put some rubber feet on it. I tested it (not extensively) with an Arduino using the HX711 library. My zero calibration factor was 195859 and my calibration setting was 435050 (for a 0.43 kg weight). It seems like it was working OK. The reading was stable and reasonably accurate. I'm not sure what the advantage of using this over a regular scale would be other than the fact that you have good control of and access to the output of the scale. Seems like the screws for the top acrylic plate should have been countersunk so that the screw heads don't interfere with the weight. Also, it seems like the acrylic plate is a little thin. I think the weight would vary some depending on where you put it on the plate but it didn't (at least for the 430 g weight I used). Also, I should mention this but I usually don't because I have yet to have a shipping problem: package arrived in good shape. It takes a few weeks to arrive but the things I buy are not emergency purchases.

Exactly what you'd expect. Decent enough quality and the price is right. Lead times are way too long for what this is.
