Bought these to strap onto my quadcopter for night flying. Very cheap and incredibly bright. When plugged in, to the naked eye the LEDs look like Terminator eyes, glowing in a faint, evil red. When using an IR sensitive cam, the entire field I fly lights up like its under a floodlight, easily surpassing 50meters of range. The electric board needed additional holes, as the pre drilled holes do not fit on a standard 30.5x30.5 stack that is used in todays quadcopters. The board is needed, even when one uses a 12V regulator as the LEDs are very sensitive to voltage spikes. I tried to get rid of the PCB and solder the lights onto the 12V BEC diectly, which killed the LEDs instantly. Well, was my mistake so I will buy a second one.

this ir leds is so powerfull you can do quad copter racing up to 20 to 30 m high. especially if the gates got reflected tape on.

The product looks a little bit smaller in the pictures but it is still compact enough to make portable. purchased 3 modules got delivered in good condition with in 10days ... shipping time is as described I don't see it so much bright to naked eye as shown in photo(Taken in my phone cam) I was seen some one attached a pic which is showing it will glow like evil eye... but i am attaching what I can see by naked eye... Any way when it is comes to IR cut enabled CCTV it's providing good light like a small flood light (screen shot attached from cctv) Modules:2 Power Adaptor:12v2Amp

one thing. On 12v it was was getting so hot and fisically making a squeeling noise so I added two more diodes from the one I had before to lower the voltage on each and now its ok. I forgot to mention that i had used it for a night flying array for my quadcopter.

Très bon produit , très efficace et avec une faible consommation. Détection jour nuit pour une mise en veille la journée. Very good product, very efficient and with low consumption. Day-night detection for daytime sleep mode.

Good quality, although haven't fired them up yet. Have put them on my tank with a IR sensitive camera for nigh time FPV. Worth the price.
