I've got quite a few Arilux lights and they're generally very well made and work well. This light seems to be made to a similar standard but nowhere on the box, light or instructions is Arilux mentioned (the other lights I've received have had their name.) Mine arrived with some damage- three cracks in the clear plastic "lens" that covers the LED's. It was wrapped in some bubble wrap but during transit something heavy must have been placed on top of it. The light and pole are very well made and I've got it set in the mode with no light unless movement is detected. It works well when you approach the light. It gives off a reasonable amount of light, but don't expect what you see in the photos used to advertise it. Keep in mind the solar panel will need direct sunlight during the day. The angle of the light once mounted on the inclined pole will not suit a lot of situations. I live in the southern hemisphere and have mounted it on the house gutters with the light pointing south. The rising in the east and then tracking north to west hits the solar panel. In my opinion it's priced a bit high compared to some other Arilux lights.
fast shipping and well packaged. I’m really pleased with this light. It was very easy to fit. I was really surprised at just how much light this produces. It is solar powered - and it works - is programmable to personal requirements and motion activated. I have it fixed to the side of my bungalow to illuminate the side passage. It’s very good for security and when I put the rubbish bins out. It comes complete with internal batteries. All I had to do was charge it program it fix it and that was it. also good value for the price.
