I have only tested it quickly, it heated up reasonably quick for use. The body of the glue gun feels very sturdy. I don't know how long the battery will last yet. The only down side I've found so far is the manual which is only in chinese. Also there is not a single marking of Xiaomi on the unit or the box, I highly doubt it is actually made by Xiaomi. I've opened up the unit to see what's inside. Check the pictures for that.
