I bought this tool so I could crimp 0.1" dupont connectors, and it doesn't seem to crimp them properly. It only crimps one side properly, and it crushes and deforms the whole connector. I need to fix the connector afterwards with some pliers. This tool is also capable of crimping larger connectors, and the larger parts of the crimping die look better quality, but since I don't have any of those around to test, I can't review how well it crimps those.

metal finish is a bit rough. Seems to be solid quality though. Handles are well cushioned. Does a reasonably good job of crimping. Jaws are well finished. Ratchet mechanism sis a little stiff I had to press quite firmly to get the ratchet to release after crimping.

Сделан качественно, обжимает хорошо. Однако, нужно иметь в виду, что несмотря на то, что этот кримпер вроде бы серии SN, сменные матрицы серии SN к нему не подходят. Они больше. Зато матрица серии RB подошла идеально. Я покупал RB02WF и как раз она стоит на кримпере на фотографиях. Так же скорее всего подойдут и матрицы RS (например, RS02WF).
