Using the route now for couple of days. Setup thx to the up pretty much easy. It does require "mainland china" location for the app. As with other Xiaomi routers, build quality is great. There are two leds on top of the device - not disturbing color, neither intensity. In terms of the wi-fi performance, this is with mix emotions. I was expecting much more from 2.4 G, this device does not perform better than current MI Router 3, but in terms of 5G - this is massive. You can be really much more far away from the router and you will still get 80-90% of the internet speed - well done here. For given price I do recommend
