I needed a lightweight, not too long, durable fibreglass or carbon pole for portable HF vertical antenna. Base of this pole is some 25mm wide which fits very well into my portable vertical stand made of 32mm tube. When packed, it is only 65 cm long and fits very well with my other equipment. Almost 7 meters of wire can be placed on it, which makes it a very good antenna support for vertical on 18, 14 MHZ as well as 10 and 7 MHz when using a loading coil.

The product is as described. Well made. The rods were shipped wrapped with two pieces of pvc water tubing. This insured that there was no damage to the rods.
