I own both the FX-61 and FX-79. While both wings look similar at first there are some flaws in the FX-79 version. It is a stretched version of it's smaller brother but the FX-79 build quality is not as good, it is a fragile wing compared. The belly of this wing is too thin and will crack if you land hard unlike the FX-61 which you can bounch off the ground with minimum damage! There is also wing flex on the last 16" of each wing as the carbon spar does not extend 100% throughout the wings.

SkyView4U just add more carbon an extension to wing tips. I've done this with my FX-61 Phantom and it stiffened the wings up very well.
