Broden depending on the model of motherboard you got it depends, if you open the motherboard case up and look at the design and model number you will be able to find a tutorial online

IamNegan Not the firmware, but you may want to tune your esteps as well as the retraction settings in your slicer to account for the dd setup. If you have dd already the slicer is probably optional, but any time you change anything with the hotend or extruder it's wise to tune your esteps.

Blank_Disk depends on what you mean by extruder, as in reality, the motor is the extruder this is a hot end with three in one out, which means you would use a remote extruder, as is the motor attached elsewhere.
