Ahenry546 That is just what the description says, that doesn't mean that is actually what it's made of. I have 2 more brands of solder that are 63/37 with same flux content and same size and they work great and leave shiny joints. This stuff barely melts and is not even usable it is so awful, that leads me to belive the description is false.

Ahenry546 They only show it with one side of the acrylic because they do not fit properly if you assemble both

Ahenry546 I believe the part you are talking about is the switch that turns the LEDS on and off. If you look at photo 11 you can see it in the background to the left of the bearings. I believe it's on the side that the batteries are on.
