Q: From the photo, it looks like there is only one positive wire. Does that mean spot and flood are on at same time, or is there a way of switching between flood and spot?

Installed and working well. Driving five 3.4W MR16 bulbs. More light output than previous 24W non constant voltage driver. Ability to tweek the output to 12.9v very useful.

Have been seeking a 90.2 light with 4 inch head for long time, without wanting to pay hundreds for the likes of an MF05. Thanks to a group buy on Budget Light Forum, I now have one, and it certainly does not disappoint. It does not give a narrow pencil beam at distance, but a very useful spread of light, ideal as a long range search light. The UI is very easy to master. The ramping goes up to 50%. It would have been useful for the user to be able to program this limit. Perhaps on a later firmware version.

I bought this specifically to mod it, but will review as someone who wants a cheapo everyday light. Firstly, the beam pattern is not useful as an EDC. The 1mm2 'Osram' type led gives a very narrow bright spot that does carry to 300m. The fairly large reflector adds a very weak but wide spill. So it does not give a balanced or even floody beam that would be useful for dog walking, hiking etc. Due to its all plastic construction, it is light to carry, although the large head does make it a bit forward heavy and unbalanced. Note that while the head is 92mm, the reflector is only 66mm. In short, there are some better cheapo lights out there with better beam profiles. For about the same money unbranded Convoys are available from third party sellers, or for just a little more outlay, pick a genuine Convoy from their large range.

Trying to understand the instructions for loading the driver on my laptop was uncertain, then suddenly it was working well. POOF! I have not tried it on my Android Smartphone yet (cannot find the phone right now). The picture on my laptop is better than I expected, the depth-of-field is good and I'm very happy with the purchase. I downgraded it one star for the crazy instructions. I am going to use it to scope out my travel trailer ceiling and probably other inspections in the future. Test photos of me done with the endoscope...

Mount is well engineered and sturdy. However, mine came without the rubber cushions for the jaw clamp, and there were two scratches on the spoiler. Thinking it was an item someone returned, as the mount was already assembled. In perfect condition, I would have given 5 stars.

Chips ( Mosfets) far too close to mounting holes for use of normal standoffs. Should be a little wider with perhaps slightly larger pads for the motor wires. Also, if you want your battery wires coming straight out of the back of quad, the motor position will need reprogramming in CLI. Plus, unless you want your batt wires in vertical plane, the pads are too small for flat on soldering. Other than that, it's a good 4 in 1 lol.
