prospector34 the depth is depending on the size of object and the metal conductivity generally for a coin of 1€ and similar size the max depth is 25/30 cm in the clean ground no mineralised.

prospector34 yes of course ,in discrimination mode it's very simply to reject totaly the iron with no sound to the level 60 for assign the low tone to the low conductor and the gold and assign the hight tone for the hight conducteur and the silver
