AdamElphick Mine is also very quiet. Can just hear the fan slightly but nothing bad.

AdamElphick Same here. I got a smart socket and set Google home to switch both off at the same time. Otherwise the blue LED stats on if the power is on.

AdamElphick You mean the little square brown cap inside? YES that MUST be on top of the inside part for it to work properly. It only fits one way round.
