I wanted a backup computer for insurance in case my main system should have a problem...and this little box is really impressive and very capable of all normal web use using an amazingly small amount of electricity. Runs nice and cool...about 45C during normal tasks and the highest I've seen is 70C under stress testing. Starts very quickly and is quiet even sitting right beside on the desk. I got the 512G M.2 with 16G RAM then added a 1TB Crucial SSD with the included SATA cable. There are no screws in the box and the SSD didn't have any either, but I found that screws from the face of an old WD HDD worked perfectly so if you go this route that's a good source to bolt it down. You MUST secure the SSD because it'll block the intake airflow if allowed to just sit in the case. Had a little trouble figuring out how the included SATA cable attached to the motherboard, but figured it out OK. For a total noob it might be good to include these directions in the manual, but it's simple once you see how it works. There is a little black cover tab on the socket that lifts up, then insert the SATA cable so the tabs on either side fit in the notches then close the cover tab and it's securely locked in place. Loaded Windows 10 from a clone of my other computer and while a bit slower this micro machine works very well. One thing I didn't notice when buying is the lack of audio out (besides headphones) so if you don't want to use them it must be the HDMI video source for sound. My monitor has speakers so I was set. Not quite as nice as the 1000W system running on the main computer but for a second backup box this fits the bill very nicely. Happy with the purchase for sure.

BG353897194 For the most part no...but mine did have the drive gear meshed a bit too tightly which was nice to get set the way I wanted it. But...there IS one thing you should check and that's the slipper clutch adjustment which on mine was WAY too tight. It actually was a bit of a bear to loosen the first time...sucker was stuck hard! Once you get it broken loose the manual shows how to adjust it properly....you want it to slip a little when it lands from a jump for instance which protects the whole drive assembly and can save breaking things. While talking to you about this car...which I really like... if yours has the Dumborc receiver you can easily switch to the 'G' version (last letter) which has a stability gyro function built in. VERY nice thing to have!! When the back end tries to fishtail and slide (which this ridiculously powerful car does effortlessly) it automatically corrects the steering which really helps you keep it going where you want. They're cheap (maybe $35 or so) and well worth the cost. Enjoy the Cheetah!

BG353897194 Yes...it can take a 1TB SATA SSD in 2.5" size. Remember you'll need screws to mount it as this computer doesn't come with the additional ones needed and many SSD's don't either. I found that the screws from the face of an HDD worked well with a Crucial 1TB SATA SSD.
