vmarafdeild This kit is designed for AC-power from a center-tapped transformer. It is absolutely impossible to use a two pole DC supply. Unfortunately the seller has decided to be cheap and send only 16V rated capacitors so the maximum safe transformer voltage is only 9-0-9V!! By replacing the capacitors with 2200uF/25V, we can use a 12-0-12V transformer.

vmarafdeild Samehappened to us here. We had previously bought the kit shown in the picture to use as a student project, not perfect but acceptable., Next time we received https://www.banggood.com/TDA2030A-2_0-Audio-Amplifier-Module-Board-18Wx2-Dule-Channel-9-12V-p-1399850.html?rmmds=search

vmarafdeild The PCB needs a small modification. Search for reviews with images. I put images of the modification in my review:"A low cost kit and it really shows...By:vmarafdeild 2018-03-14 14:35:33"

vmarafdeild The amplifier has a fundamental PCB design fault. The ground trace goes from power supply to speakers, SHARING current paths with low voltage input signals causing oscillations. Solution: Cut the ground traces next to the speaker connectors (careful not to disconnect anything else). Then connect a wire from the pin of C4, directly to speaker connector ground pins.
