You can pepper them all over a project board for individual modules or segments so long as they don't need the same ref voltage or a common V(in) bus etc. The price is fair (I bought the 100ct of the AMS1117-5.0 for like $5-6), the tape is in great shape (for those of you who have the dough for an IC manufactory!), and you get exactly what you expect and pay for! 10/10, good to go!
