This low-light camera works very well, and is reasonably priced for its ability. It feels solidly constructed, and is quite chunky in the hand, not to mention rather heavy to hand-hold for long periods once it is fully loaded with batteries. I would therefore recommend having a tripod mount if it is to be used to take motion video. The IR illuminator is unfortunately visible to the naked eye from in front as a red light source, so the instrument is not suitable as is for hunting or nature watching of nervous fauna. For those purposes, one would need to invest in a separate true IR illuminator. Perhaps Banggood can come up with one of those? One quality star reluctantly deducted because of the illuminator issue, otherwise 5/5.
