Good addition, as i have my printer in my house the sound it is noticeable. This does reduce noise but not as much as i was hoping. It did make enough of a difference that i don't hear it in my bedroom so it is worthwhile for a low price and simple a install.. I also have a tmc2130 which is much quieter still and really is a better stepper, had this as a spare which i needed when my tmc2130 failed on my y axis after 12months of hard work..
