Sauerdorn No. It does NOT fit on hd 590. But you can cut with a scissor the plastic from your old ear pad and glue it to this one. Than it fits.

Sauerdorn One. You dont cut both cable. You cut one cable.

Sauerdorn No. It changes the status from off to on. The circuit is closed only when the button is pressed. When you release the button, the circuit is interrupted. you can believe me. I own the switch.
