mhik just press the to turn it On and leave it, daylight will On because photo sensor will automatically sense the light. it only activate the Charging and it fully charge.

Q: Is it possible to remove the 12V cable?

mhik its a 12v Car Power supply connected using a Car Lighter Cigarette Socket, Since i don't have that Socket on my Motorcycle, I put additional Wire and soldered inside the plug an alligator battery Clip. to directly connect to my Motorcycle battery, now I have both plug Light Plug and Clip, and Couple of times i used the Device and Wow it really Works and Fast Inflating my Tire. from 0 to 29 psi, just it take around more or less 1 min. device is very easy to set PSI or BAR. i recommend you guys to purchased this product.

mhik you are right it make feel better and secure, for my i will convert the power connector to Clamp. because my bike dont have the same usb power power socket port.
