Shirley Did you install the driver for the CH340G? It\'s not included with the Arduino software. Windows 10 will install it automatically but earlier Windows versions will not. Here is the manufacturer\'s site where you can download it: http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_EXE.html - you want the file CH341SER.ZIP Or you can get the driver from this site in New Zealand: http://sparks.gogo.co.nz/ch340.html

The Windows operating system does not recognize the controller (see photo 1). The Arduino programming software, although configured correctly, can not load the sketches (see photo 2).
