dieterkrost Yes, I think that has to be done. Switch the device to transmitter and connect the opto-cable TV set. The sound should arrive at the paired smartphone. (I only took it on bluetooth headphones, though). However, keep in mind: there is a picture-sound time difference, which can be quite frustrating ...
