Q: I'm planning to use the WeMos D1 mini in a Smart Home project and permanently mount it in a wall socket. That's why I need to supply it with power using a 240V 50Hz AC to 5VDC converter. So which converter I have to use ?

holdenweb Any wall wart should do - the Mini needs less than a fifth of an Amp as I recall. It regulates the 5v from the wall wart down to 3v3 to drive the ESP8266, so digital interface logic should operate at 3v3 unless you want to use level converters. The analogue input pin A0 won't tolerate more than 3.2v so treat it gently.
