Q: Is this board programmable? Is there a development kit?

perguntado por Bill Gatliff sobre 2019-06-12 06:38:32

mikedyer Of course it is programmable, but it should come with pre-installed logic analyzer firmware (Sigrok Pulseview) so you don't need to program to use in that role. If you don't want to use it as a logic analyzer (or want to update the firmware) then you'll need to download some dev tools. See site www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/CY7C68013 for details.

mikedyer Am getting the same problem with my recent purchase too... Windows 10 Device Manager notices the usb device but it comes up unrecognized with (Device Descriptor Request Failed). Have tried the usual easy tricks... different ports usb 2.0 and 3.0, USB hub (powered/unpowered), different cables... no luck with that. I am aware that the Micronucleus bootloader has a 5 second timeout when plugged in, but I've installed the latest drivers manually from github and the device state still comes up immediately as unrecognized. I'm suspecting the chip simply has a bad or missing bootloader which means one would need to use an ASP programmer with avrdude and try reburning Micronucleus. Feedback would be appreciated here if others have had same experience with missing bootloader and fixed it that way.... otherwise will update if/when I get it working.
