Q: Works in toyota 1997?

perguntado por Arianne Valentina sobre 2019-04-20 07:35:20

Terry Aslong as the vehicle originally sold new in American after 1996 then yes. By law all vehicles sold new in the USA after 1996 must be manufactured with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)'s "2nd version" of it's "On Board Diagnostics" and a "Data Link Connector" to interface with and receive at a minimum any emission-related codes and data needed to verify that the vehicle is in compliance with emission standards for the model year it was manufactured. Furthermore, the OBD-II DLC is required to be within 2 feet (0.61 m) of the steering wheel or somewhere within reach of the driver, so keep that in mind when you're locating yours. If the vehicle was not sold new in the US then you would have to refer to your country of origin's own particular emission laws to be sure. Otherwise if you have the little black plugin somewhere under the dash near your steering wheel that looks like this would fit into, then you can be almost certain this will work. In 2009 only OBD2 connectors were installed and why waste the money installing a data link connector in your vehicles that doesn't link to any data. Just find the plug in the vehicle first to be sure.

perguntado por Softcab sobre 2019-12-26 06:43:10

Terry Yesit comes with both USB type-C and micro USB, but it will not transfer data and "fast charging" will depend on your model. (I wouldn't count on it.)

Q: funciona no vw santana 1995?

perguntado por familiapontual2000 sobre 2018-05-21 10:18:59

Terry Likelynot. The US did not require OBD2 connections in their vehicles until 1996 and they were more strict that most other countries. If you have a data link connector it is likely a standard OBD rather than an OBD2. Based off of VW's record of trying to cheat emissions testing, I doubt you have any link at all. VW presumably wouldn't include any emissions data collection in their vehicles unless expressly forced to.

Terry Itwill charge your phone but, it will not take full advantage of any fast charging abilities nor will it transfer your data. The cable is rated at 5V - 3A max so 15W charging is the best you're going to get.

Terry Thereis no "lifetime" or expiration listed on it, but from my experience, as long as you keep it sealed and out of the elements, it should last indefinitely. High heat or freezing temps may break down the plasticity or wax like state causing it to separate. Also keep away from all solvents.
