Brief: This watch is the first true contender in the wearables market. Actually, it sets the bar. It works very well, has a designer look and feel to it and can be customized to no end. It performs as promised and exceeded my expectations! Negative observations: - Can’t buy a replacement charging cable! I would buy a 5-pack because of the small battery and keep one in every pocket. Kospet, please offer some options for charging, maybe even a wearable backup battery? (wristband battery with low profile charging connector, maybe?) - Security settings not accessible! I found a workaround to activate the lock screen by accessing the google play account and reviewing the security settings for the device. Google forced the policy and now I have a lock code. (WARNING!) However, I have not found a way to change the lock code, other than resetting the watch and starting again. Tip: google offers to turn on a seething to keep the watch unlocked while you’re wearing it, it works well so far and I’m happy I chose it when I had a chance. (WARNING 2) The watch face will no longer be displayed, instead you will get the digital clock standard lock screen for android. I installed and app called AcDisplay to get the glance screen to what I’d like it to be, including notifications. it works well but you’ll need to swipe two layers to unlock. I kind of like that, though. - Many apps are not yet optimized for the screen shape, it helps that you can switch from round to square display but it sometimes needs to be switched often for menu selections and in few cases, the confirm button was out of reach entirely. Connecting a Bluetooth mouse can help with this problem, especially since I’ve only encountered it while setting up app settings (like Outlook). With time, smart watches will become more popular and I’m sure that by next year, more apps will include watch compatible GUI. Positive: - Looks and feels fantastic! It’s on the larger side of what a watch can be but this also makes it feel like you’re wearing a proper designer watch. Just by looking, it appears to be a $5,000.00 + piece of jewelry. I’m over 6’ and it’s comfortable for me. - Works as advertised, honestly a well designed and functional object. - Android OS means that there is room for improvement with updates. I hope that Kospet will continue to improve the software and PLEASE, ADD SECURITY SETTINGS/FEATURES. Thank you. - Battery lasts as long as I expected. it’s 80%-90% smaller than what you’d get in a phone, while doing everything as good and as fast as a regular smartphone. A day, in standby with LTE connection, other radios off, voip and whatsapp active with everything else in battery saver and restricted data access, Accounts Sync off, some messages and few short phone calls on speaker phone. Minimal for communication, everything else on demand. Works for me!
