Q: the spec says voltage in = DC3.7-6V and then below that it says "Two sections of small capacity lithium series of 7.2V, measured arc voltage has dropped to about 4V state, the capacity of the smaller voltage pulled lower. It is recommended to use more than one lithium battery 2000mA , 4000mA best conditions with more battery." - is this saying that two 18650s in series = "best conditions"? if yes, how is 8.4V ok for a maximum input spec of 6V? if no, then WTF do they mean by that statement?

BG451854250 Yes frequent rests. And use a single 18650 or similar eg 14500. So not great at disabling people for self defence. You will like a tool when after a few showy arcing’s the thing starts making a lame whistling or stops altogether. I always carry several just in case.

freaktose Since I don't see the word "legally" anywhere in your question I'm going to say... yes? Certainly you are joking, however, If you are foolish enough to actually do this I would recommend you keep the device under lock and key lest your wife get a hold of it and zap you in the balls while you sleep. Sleeping with one eye open from then on might do the trick but your mileage may vary. 😉😅
