Excellent product and great support from the manufacturer. I have HDO2 as well. I prefer the SKY04X - much more finished product than anything that FatShark ever released. The only thing Fatsharks gave going for them is better external module support and better quality of molding and plastic of the shell.

There is no glue included, like in the picture, no assembly manual or specs sheet as well. The CG is unknown.

These props don't look so good - lots molding flash all over the edge, difficult to clean as the props are very thin. Also - they are not suitable for flaying wings - cannot be mounted as pusher props.

The movement is jerky - it's moving in 1-2 deg. steps rather than smoothly and continuously.

The servo appears to be made quite well, it has 2 ball bearings and the play is quite small, however the centering isn't very precise.

It woks fine, but one must remember so set "Old bootloader" in Arduino board settings.

Immediately upon putting them on I have noticed that the screens are flickering, causing eye fatigue and headache. It feels like looking at an old CRT monitor with refresh rate of 30Hz or below. Later I have discovered that the screens mostly flicker in 4:3 mode, and appear acceptable in 16:9 and HDMI modes. I compared them with my old Transformer goggles and image there is perfectly still and flicker free when viewing from the same source. Also image is clipped at the bottom - only half of the bottom-most OSD line is visible on the HDO2 screens. This is a very useful device. Has lot's of function but the main is that it keeps the voltage at constant 8V until the batteries are discharged down to whatever voltage you set. Cells can also be balance charged inside the case - it comes with an adapter cable. It's slightly bulkier that the FatShark battery case, but not by much. It also has an ON/OFF switch! The appearance and moulding quality isn't the best but that's the only half-a-complaint.

It's a decent looking VTX - working SmartAudio, small and light, has mounting holes, wires are soldered directly allowing for a cleaner build, heats less on 600 mW than Matek HV on 25 mW, MMCX pigtail is included. The only problem - there is no 1200mW on mine - only 3 power levels are available -so it's essentially a 600mW VTX.

It's voltage and current measurement are very inaccurate and non-linear - so the included calibration functionality is useless. It's only suitable for occasional emergency charging as it would unbalance the batteries over time.

Working as described - it broadcasts 2 networks at the same time - one for serial port connection for use with a PC and another BLE for use with a smartphone. Good to use with a flight controller to configure it with a PC or with a smartphone at the field.

Antenna looks good but a fake dummy load is included. You will need to buy an extra 50Ohm dummy load for he unused connector for it.

It's a nice little flight controller designed specifically for fixed wing aircraft. There is no analog RSSI input natively but you can add it with Inav firmware if you're not using LED output. Or you can have 2 softserials if there is a need for it.

It's just a dummy load. Reads 51Ohm, so...good i guess.

Arvycka Ho do these compare with Transformer SE? Since transformer also has low resolution and huge pixels in binocular mode. Which has bigger FOV?

Preface: I have several box goggles (Fatshark Transformers SE, VR006, VR007) and recently bought a Falcon FG-01 binocular-style type goggles. I got the Prime 1s as backup goggles. I wear glasses (+3 diopter) and have a broad Asian face. I haven't flown with these yet, so these are just my initial impressions. Fit: Faceplate is kinda narrow, but ultimately fits OK. At nearly 400g, with a largish battery located at the far end of the goggles, its not particularly lightweight and the top strap is essential to help distribute that weight comfortably. I can *just* about get an OK focus for my eyes using the built-in diopter adjustment. Younger folks may find and easier time focusing (I am 49). IPD adjustment works fine and I had no problem finding a sweet spot. They're not my most comfy set of goggles and I suppose I could get used to them. No glaring issues of comfort for me. For less weight hanging off my face, I'll prolly remove the substantial built-in battery and power the goggles from a lipo behind my head. Its an easy mod and reversible too. Image quality: OK, the FOV is generous. If you're coming from other box goggles, it won't seem as huge and immersive, but its certainly not small. When you do get good focus, you'll notice some screendoor effect ie. you can see the individual pixels. 480 vertical res isn't bad (I've flown happily with 270 vertical pixels for years) and the screendoor thing doesnt bother me, but that turns you off, then these goggles may not be for you. I also find the default settings a little dim and washed out... I had to crank up most of the settings to get video to my taste. Build quality: Overall, I'd say they don't look nasty cheap at all. One could easily peg these at twice their price for the quality of plastics and other materials used. The parts go together well and packaging was tidy and clean. Its nice they included spare faceplate foam, flat charging cable and cleaning cloth. Some annoyances: Mine did NOT come with any antennas. Not even rubber duckies. I dunno what's the deal with that additional black plastic cover... its extra cost, weight and complication with no apparent benefit whatsoever, apart from questionable aesthetics. A decal would have sufficed. Summary: I like these goggles. They are FAR superior to anything else at this price, and certainly MILEs ahead of any goggles that I flew with as a beginner. They are smaller and less dorky than most any other box style goggle, with a fairly complete feature set (DVR, real dual VRx diversity, diopter adjustment).

Q: Looks all design and no function. The propeller is behind a huge wall - where does it get the air from? No place to mount VTX and RX antennas, nor GPS. seems to be designed to look cool and nothing else

Jannes There is no huge wall really. More like a black tube where the air can flow freely passing the ESC to the propeller. I would love to see this wing in in a windtunnel with smoke though.

Absolutely wonderful GPS receiver for a fixed wing (has no compass) - very small and light, uses very little power, has good reception - at least 20 sats in an open area.
