dzenizo It depends on the inverter. First, the inverter has to be "Grid Connected", and certified by the electric utility company, so you don't electrocutate somebody when the main power is out. Refer to the drwaing above, there are single phase inverters, which can power only one leg of the three phase circuit, or you install a 3-phase inverter, wich will feed equal power to the three legs. This model in particular, is connected to a battery, and then it connects to an inverter and then to the grid. Do a search for "grid conneted inverters".
